Cre8so respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar applicable laws.
Reporting Infringement
If you believe a product listed on Cre8so infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at support@cre8so.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice."
Your notice must include:
- Your full legal name and contact information (email, phone number, address)
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The URL or specific location on Cre8so of the allegedly infringing content
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your electronic or physical signature
Our Response
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content promptly
- Notify the creator that the content has been removed
- Provide the creator with a copy of the takedown notice (with your contact information redacted if requested)
Counter-Notices
If you are a creator who believes your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice to support@cre8so.com. A counter-notice must include:
- Your name, address, phone number, and email
- Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the court where you are located
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will restore removed content within 10–14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice, unless the original complainant files a court order.
Repeat Infringers
Cre8so maintains a policy of terminating accounts that are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Multiple substantiated DMCA complaints against a creator will result in permanent account termination.
Misuse
Filing a fraudulent DMCA takedown notice is illegal. Anyone who makes false claims about copyright infringement may be held liable for damages under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
