Every product on Cre8so comes with a license. Choosing the right one is important. Here is a plain-English explanation.

Personal License

Use the Personal License for non-commercial purposes. This means:

  • Personal projects (redesigning your own blog, learning, practice)
  • School or university work
  • Social media posts that do not promote a business or generate income
  • Non-profit or charity work

You cannot use a Personal License when money is involved in any way.

Commercial License

Use the Commercial License whenever your use is connected to money or business. This includes:

  • Client work (creating deliverables for a paying client)
  • Marketing materials for a business (ads, brochures, social campaigns)
  • Products you sell (merchandise, prints, digital products)
  • A website or app that earns revenue

The simple rule

If money is changing hands, you need a Commercial License. When in doubt, upgrade — it protects you and the creator.

Extended License

If you want to incorporate an asset into a product you resell at scale (such as a template pack, WordPress theme, or app UI kit), you need an Extended License. Contact us to discuss Extended License options for specific products.
