Yes, you can use Cre8so assets in work you do for clients — but you need the right license.
What license do you need?
Client work always requires the Commercial License. If you are being paid to create something (a logo, a social media post, a presentation, a website mockup), that is commercial use.
What the Commercial License covers for client work
- Creating deliverables for paying clients
- Using assets in client marketing materials
- Incorporating assets into websites or apps you build for clients
- Creating multiple deliverables for different clients from the same license
You do not need to buy a new license for each client project. One Commercial License covers all your client work.
What is not allowed
You cannot give your client the original raw file (the PSD, AI, or source file) and let them use it independently. If your client wants to use the file themselves — editing it, using it for their own future projects — they need their own license.
Delivering a final, finished design to your client using the asset is fine. Handing over the source file so they can keep using it themselves is not covered by your license.
